The Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducted “Career Awareness Program” at Pillai HoC College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Rasayani on 02 September 2026 to create awareness among students about the opportunities and career prospects in the Company Secretary profession. The event was conducted under the leadership of CS Yogesh Choudhary, Chairman, ICSI-WIRC. The Career Counselling Cell & Programme of B.M.S. in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organised the Career Guidance on Company Secretary Course. The college thanked the officials of WIRC of ICSI for delivering an informative and inspiring Career Awareness Programme. Their guidance helped FY BMS, BAF and B.Com. students understand the role and importance of Company Secretaries. Students learned about the CS course, including the direct entry route to the Executive Programme for graduates. The session also highlighted the benefits of pursuing a professional qualification along with a degree. It motivated students to explore new career opportunities and plan their future with greater confidence. Around 260 students attended the session. The Principal – Rinkoo Shantnu and Asst. Prof. B.Com. Coordinator Paulami Rao appreciated the efforts of the institute.
