The shares of this company, engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of carded, combed and compact combed cotton yarns and cotton bales are in focus after securing a Rs. 25 crore order for the manufacture and supply of Greige Fabric.
With a market capitalisation of Rs. 356 cr, the shares of Aastha Spintex Ltd were trading at Rs. 80.82 per share, locked at the lower circuit in today’s market session, making a low of Rs. 80.82, down from its previous close of Rs. 89.79 per share.
About the order
Aastha Spintex has secured a long-term, non-cancellable order worth ~Rs. 25 crore from JSK Textile LLP, Halvad, Gujarat, for the manufacture and supply of Greige Fabric. The order involves approximately 750 MT of fabric and will be executed over a period of two years on an Ex-Mill basis.
The order marks a strategic expansion of Aastha Spintex into the fabric segment, allowing the company to broaden its existing textile operations and cater to a wider range of customer requirements. The company expects the new business to strengthen its product and customer mix.

Under the contract dated September 24, 2026, execution will begin with an initial supply of around 30 MT within the next two months. The remaining quantities will be supplied after receiving quality approval. The company stated that the contract is non-cancellable under its terms.
Impact on Business
The Rs. 25 crore order is expected to provide greater revenue visibility over the two-year execution period. The additional volumes could also support better utilisation of existing manufacturing capacities, improve operating efficiencies and help in the absorption of fixed costs.
The order is also expected to broaden Aastha Spintex’s customer base and product portfolio within its textile operations. According to the company, this could strengthen the scalability and resilience of its business while supporting its continued expansion in the textile industry.
Bonus Issue
Aastha Spintex has fixed September 28, 2026, as the record date for its 1:1 bonus issue. Eligible shareholders will receive one bonus equity share for every one existing share held. The company will issue 4.41 crore bonus shares, with deemed allotment on September 29 and trading of the bonus shares commencing from September 30, 2026.
About the company
Aastha Spintex is characterized by a wide range of products, including ring spun combed compact yarns and ring spun carded yarns. The company’s premium combed compact yarns are characterized by fineness and strength, low hairiness, hence their suitability in apparel, such as polo shirts and dress shirts, as well as in home textiles. Carded yarns are used in casual wear, interlock and regular fabrics.

Cotton bales are also traded by the company as they form the major raw materials in textile production. The company also earns secondary income from cotton seeds, used for oil extraction and as animal feed, and from yarn waste, including hard waste and sweepings, which can be used in open-end spinning and for purposes such as padding and mopping.
The company’s sales declined from Rs. 141.48 crore in Q4FY26 to Rs. 77.47 crore in Q1FY27. Operating profit fell from Rs. 20.23 crore to Rs. 9.11 crore, while net profit declined from Rs. 10.79 crore to Rs. 3.09 crore during the same period.
