Japan’s Digital Agency said a cyberattack on its Government Solution Service network may have exposed personal information from about 246,000 government workers, public servants, contractors, and other individuals. The breach was traced to a vulnerability in a VPN device. Authorities said no personal information of ordinary citizens was involved and no misuse has been detected so far.
