What’s The News

It is hereby stated that Aastha Spintex has announced the record date for the above-mentioned bonus issue, which has been approved earlier. The company has fixed Monday, September 28, 2026, as the record date for identifying the persons eligible for the bonus shares.

The ratio of the bonus issue has been announced 1:1, which means that for every share that the shareholders own on the record date, they shall receive an additional share of Rs. 10 face value.

Aastha Spintex Bonus Issue: Key Dates

Also, Aastha Spintex Limited is issuing 1:1 bonus issue wherein each eligible shareholder will get an extra equity share against each equity share he holds on the date of record. The record date for determining the eligible shareholders is September 28, 2026.

In this issuance, the company will distribute 4,41,42,190 equity shares having a face value of Rs. 10 each. The date of issuance will be decided as September 29, 2026, and afterwards, the shares can be traded from September 30, 2026.

After the bonus issuance, the number of equity shares held by the eligible shareholders will be double while the face value will be the same, that is Rs. 10.

What Does the 1:1 Bonus Issue Mean

Under the 1:1 bonus issue, an eligible shareholder holding 100 shares on the record date would receive another 100 bonus shares, taking the total holding to 200 shares.

However, a bonus issue does not by itself increase the value of an investor’s holding. Since the number of shares doubles, the market price generally adjusts proportionately, all else being equal. The bonus shares will carry the same rights as the existing shares.

Stock Price Action

Following the record-date announcement on September 22, 2026, Aastha Spintex shares gained around 10% and hit the upper circuit, according to market reports. The stock closed at around Rs. 81.62 on September 22.

The price movement reflects market attention around the upcoming corporate action, although the bonus issue itself does not change the underlying business value mechanically.

Investor Perspective

The most important event for the shareholders is the record date of September 28. Shareholders who are entitled on the record date will get an extra share for every share owned under the 1:1 bonus entitlement.

It is worth mentioning that the bonus shares have been classified to be of equal rank with the current equity shares, and the trading of the shares will commence from September 30, 2026. For the shareholders, the bonus shares issue needs to be treated as capitalization of the reserve and not as the increase in the value of the share.
