A number of high-profile stocks have had a lot of turnover with the stockholders with the promoters, mutual funds and international players taking a completely opposite stance. Meesho, Welspun Living, Allied Blenders, Molbio Diagnostics and many other stocks saw considerable buying and selling going on. With a combination of local, foreign and old shareholders being involved, it is worthwhile to follow the trend. Let us take a close look at some of the major deals. The total transaction value stood at Rs. 2956.6 Crores. 

Meesho

RPS WOS II LLC, owned by RPS Ventures, sold 3.86 crore shares, representing 0.83% stake in Meesho, for ₹899.7 crore at an average price of ₹233 per share. The seller had held a 1.18% stake as of June 2026. The entire quantity was picked up by 14 investors, including the Government of Singapore, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Mirae Asset MF, Bajaj Life Insurance, Fidelity Advisor and Edelweiss MF. This was the largest transaction among the companies listed here.

Welspun Living

Promoter Welspun Group Master Trust sold 2.44 crore shares, equivalent to 2.59% stake, for ₹525.88 crore at an average price of ₹214.9 per share. Fidelity International Small Cap Fund acquired 2.22 crore shares, or 2.35% stake, for ₹477.97 crore, while Quant Mutual Fund bought 22.29 lakh shares, representing 0.23% stake, for ₹47.9 crore. The transaction resulted in institutional investors acquiring shares sold by the promoter.

Allied Blenders and Distillers

Promoter Bina Kishore Chhabria sold 55 lakh shares, representing 1.97% stake, for ₹357.59 crore at ₹650.17 per share. On the buying side, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority acquired 15.03 lakh shares worth ₹97.72 crore, while SBI Mutual Fund purchased 34 lakh shares worth ₹221.04 crore at an average price of around ₹650 per share. The transaction involved both a global institutional investor and a domestic mutual fund.

Escorts

HDFC Mutual Fund sold 16.21 lakh shares of Escorts for around ₹453 crore, while Nippon India Mutual Fund acquired 12.94 lakh shares worth ₹361.7 crore. The shares changed hands at an average price of approximately ₹2,794 per share. The transaction indicates a change in institutional ownership, with HDFC MF reducing its holding while Nippon India MF acquired shares.

MKVentures Capital

Sushil Bahety, Padma Bahety and Ankit Bahety & Sons HUF acquired 1.48 lakh shares, representing 3.86% stake, in Madhusudan Kela-promoted MK Ventures Capital for ₹14.85 crore. Meanwhile, Think India Opportunities Master Fund exited its entire holding by selling 1.63 lakh shares, or 4.26% stake, for ₹16.35 crore. Both transactions were executed at an average price of ₹1,000 per share, resulting in a sizable ownership change.

Molbio Diagnostics

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund acquired 27.5 lakh shares, representing 2.38% stake, in Molbio Diagnostics for ₹361.62 crore. On the other side, Business Excellence Trust III, backed by Motilal Oswal Financial Services, sold 29.96 lakh shares, or 2.6% stake, for ₹394.07 crore. The transaction took place at ₹1,315 per share, showing a notable shift in institutional holdings between the two investors.

Optiemus Infracom

Bank of India Mutual Fund acquired 17.69 lakh shares of Optiemus Infracom for ₹144.3 crore. The shares were purchased at an average price of ₹815.68 per share. Unlike several other companies in the list, the information provided highlights the institutional buying activity without identifying a corresponding seller. The transaction therefore adds Optiemus to the list of companies witnessing notable institutional ownership changes.

Mazda

Croll Reynolds International Inc sold 1.33 lakh shares, equivalent to 0.66% stake, in Mazda for ₹3.38 crore at an average price of ₹254.1 per share. The investor held 7.23% stake as of June 2026 and has sold a cumulative 3.18% stake over the last four sessions. The repeated selling has resulted in a meaningful reduction in Croll Reynolds International’s holding in the company.

Marine Electrical

SBI Funds Management acquired 11.55 lakh shares of Marine Electrical for ₹45.61 crore at an average price of ₹394.79 per share. Meanwhile, KDU Enterprises sold 42 lakh shares for ₹162.32 crore at an average price of ₹386.48 per share. The transaction represents another significant change in ownership, with SBI Funds Management on the buying side and KDU Enterprises reducing its holding.
